The announcement was made on The Queen's 90th birthday, when Linemark was notified that it had been awarded its second prestigious Queen's Award, this time for International Trade.
A champagne reception was held at the Palace, attended by Her Majesty The Queen, in recognition of the achievements of the Queen's Award winners. During the reception, Kenny and Brian were approached by the financial director of the household who spoke to them about Linemark's success.
Kenny said "It was an honour to have been gifted the chance to visit Buckingham Palace and to see The Queen on behalf of Linemark UK. It was a fantastic experience and an opportunity of a lifetime. It's all thanks to the hard work and efforts of everyone at Linemark UK in getting the award."
Brian added" To have had the honour of representing Linemark UK at the Queen's Awards ceremony at Buckingham Palace is, in itself, the opportunity of a lifetime. The knowledge that it was done on behalf of every single member of the company, that together enabled us to be a recipient of the award for the second time, was a very proud moment, one to be cherished."
The Queen's Award will be presented to Linemark in September 2016 by the Lord Lieutenant.
